Plum Village UK is a charity (legally The Community of Interbeing UK) dedicated to cultivating mindfulness, compassion and ethical living across the UK.
We are rooted in the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and Plum Village tradition of Engaged Buddhism.
We are part of the global community of lay and monastic practice centres and organisations offering teachings on Zen and the art of mindful living.
Our founding monastery and practice centre is Plum Village in France.
March 2026 saw the opening of our first UK Zen Centre – Being Peace – in the heart of the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire.
