Practice Groups

Within Buddhism, a community that gathers to meditate, to share their joys and difficulties, and to encourage each other on the path, is traditionally called a “sangha”.

Local Groups

We have many sanghas across the UK that meet regularly to practise in Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village Zen tradition.

These range from small groups in friends’ homes to larger communities that meet in hired spaces.

To see if you have a group meeting near you, you can search on Plumline – the global Plum Village sangha finder.

If you would like help finding a community you can email uksanghacoordinator@plumvillage.uk

Being volunteer-run, there will be a variety of styles and formats, while all our groups have Plum Village practice at their heart.

Online Groups

If you are unable to reach an in-person group, joining one online can be a great way to stay connected to your mindfulness practice and to have the support of others.
