Local Group | Bramham (Leeds)
Bramham Sangha meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 7-9pm at Bramham Parish Centre. There is an option to leave around 8pm if you cannot stay the full two hours.
The sessions usually start with an informal chat, followed by: • Guided meditation • Mindful walking • Silent sit • Introductions • A reading • Dharma Sharing (reflecting on our own practice).
Each week different members of the group facilitate the session. This is on a purely voluntary basis, and participation is encouraged. The facilitator (or facilitation group) chooses the theme, meditation, and readings for the session. Chairs are provided, but if you use a meditation stool or cushion for sitting, please bring it with you.
You are welcome to come along and give it a try. The venue we use is free so there is no cost involved. Please email if you would like to join us.
If you are new to mindfulness you may like to attend a Be Calm Be Happy course run by Plum Village UK first, and then join us.
