A Season of Remembrance
With Aspirant UK Dharma Teacher Rehena Harilall

Autumn is a season when many cultures and spiritual traditions turn toward remembrance and honouring of the ancestors. From Samhain and All Saints’ Day to Pitru Paksha, DÃa de los Muertos, and beyond, this is a time to reflect on those who have come before us.
In this Dharma talk, we will explore how remembrance is understood across diverse traditions, and how it is embodied in Buddhism and the Plum Village practice. To remember is not only to give thanks, but also to tell the truth — to look with honesty at the joys and the wounds in our lineages, and to make a vow to heal and transform them for ourselves and for future generations.
Rooted in the practice of Touching the Earth as offered by ThÃch Nh?t H?nh, and in the spirit of interbeing, we will bow to our ancestors and rise with renewed commitment — bringing compassion, transformation, and healing into our lives and into the world today.
On the first Sunday of every month, we offer a Morning of Mindfulness led by UK Lay Dharma Teachers, Members of the Order of Interbeing, Monastic Dharma Teachers and special guests.
The morning will typically include a guided meditation, followed by a Dharma talk or a panel. After a short break, there will be an opportunity for Dharma sharing in groups.
