Sunday 1 Dec 2024 | 10:00 – 12:00 UK Time
This week our mindful morning will be led by Kirsten Kratz and Dene Donalds.
For many the multiple challenges of our times and the demands of our personal life can feel overwhelming.
During our time together we wish to explore skillful ways of resourcing ourselves in the midst of uncertainty, so we can approach difficult aspects of life more wisely and compassionately.
Together we will enquire into what may enable our being to be with difficulties, discomfort, fear and anxiety; in a balanced and engaged way.
The morning will be in two parts, with a short break midway at 11am followed by Dharma sharing in small groups.
Kirsten Kratz
KIRSTEN KRATZ has practised Buddhist meditation since 1993, got involved with Gaia House, a silent meditation retreat centre within the Western Insight Mediation tradition in 1997 and started teaching in 2006. Her love and understanding of Dharma has been strongly influenced by, among others, the teachings of her friend and teacher colleague, Rob Burbea. One of her passions is exploring how wisdom teachings can foster appropriate responses to the challenges of our time, and Kirsten sees her involvement in activism as an important expression of her practice.
Dene Donalds
