Description
Buddhist practice and photography both play important roles in Sharon’s life. This photo
book project is her journey of exploration to combine the two. In Sharon’s experience,
similarities between meditation practice and the creative process include being fully
present in the moment, looking at each situation with a sense of wonder, curiosity and
playfulness and an awareness that life is fleeting and ever changing. She has chosen
four core Buddhist teachings with the aim of using abstract images as a visual
metaphor for the individual elements that make up each teaching.
