In this Mindful Morning, Gary Greenberg explores the relationship between the Christian tradition and the Plum Village tradition of mindfulness. Taking a respectful and honest approach, the talk highlights both the important differences and the deep parallels between the two traditions, before reflecting on what each might learn from the other. Drawing on personal experience and years of practice, Gary offers a thoughtful perspective on how these two spiritual paths can enrich our understanding of compassion, presence and transformation.
On the first Sunday of every month, we offer a Morning of Mindfulness led by UK Lay Dharma Teachers, Members of the Order of Interbeing, Monastic Dharma Teachers and special guests.
The morning will typically include a guided meditation, followed by a talk or panel. After a short break, there will be an opportunity for Dharma sharing in groups.
