The last day of Black History Month, is the first day of COP26, which brings parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Many BIPOC activists, especially from global south countries most impacted by climate change will be unable to attend.
We come together with Baba Mandaza & Nobantu Mpotulo ( Africa) to honour the earth. We call on BIPOC buddhist activists to use the open space to share their contributions in honour the voices of the global South most impacted by climate change and their contributions over many decades. Together our energy can effect shift-changes in mind and action.
