Mindful Morning – Sunday 2nd July 2023 10:00 – 12:00 hrs London Time
Four established practitioners will share on a panel about how they are continuing our teacher’s life work by bringing Plum Village practice off the cushion and into the wider community:
Dene Donalds, a UK dharma teacher, works as a Prison Chaplain, and is a Director of an organisation supporting refugees.
Fleur Lobascher is a long-term practitioner trained in hospital chaplaincy at Guys and Great Ormond Street Hospitals and has worked in pastoral care in support of university students and staff with sight loss for the RNIB.
Kev Place, Order Member and Trustee is currently an NHS Hospital Chaplain, with long experience in service as a volunteer hospice Chaplain.
Ally MacKenzie, aspirant to the Order of Interbeing is employed by the Morecambe Bay Poverty Truth Commission to encourage deep listening between those experiencing poverty and key decision-makers.
There will be an initial guided meditation, a short presentation from each panellist, an opportunity to ask questions about their work and practice, sharing in small groups and a plenary short practice to finish.
