We are delighted to be hosting our 4th Colours of Compassion UK retreat

This retreat will offer the gift of gathering in the beloved community after a long hiatus of in-person gatherings and a move to online spaces during the pandemic.

Practicing mindfulness in a community representing the global majority is an invitation to come home to ourselves and touch our true belonging. We will have the opportunity to practice tools for sustaining wellbeing, caring for our pain and deepening our connection to ourselves, our community and the earth.

We will gather to take refuge in a community practicing in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. Our daily practice will include meditation, sitting and walking, daily dharma talks, mindful meals in silence, group sharing and listening circles, alongside qi gong, movement, Interplay (a fun and creative improvisational and body wisdom practice).

There will also be an opportunity to formally receive a transmission of the 5 mindfulness trainings during this retreat. You can learn more about this and express your interest during the retreat.

This retreat will be led by Dharma Teacher Dene Donalds with the support of other community facilitators.

This event is for Black, Asian & People of Colour (Global Majority)This includes people from mixed racial heritagespeople who come from African, Caribbean, Asian and Middle Eastern Backgrounds, Indigenous or mixed race of North, Central and South America, Australias and New Zealand.
