20 Oct 2022
Sidcot School, Winscombe
A retreat for experienced practitioners to build mindful community with Dharma Teachers Murray Corke and Theresa Payne
key info
16 Apr 2021 - 18 Apr 2021
Online/Hybrid East Midlands Hub, Groby
This series of retreats is for those with an established mindfulness practice. The Three Doors of Liberation, Signlessness, Aimlessness and Emptiness offer ways to free us from habitual patterns that can make us inflexible, goal orientated and isolated.
Thich Nhat Hanh wrote: “In the West, we are very goal oriented. We know where we want to go, and we are very directed in getting there. This may be useful, but often we forget to enjoy ourselves along the route.”
Aimlessness helps us to avoid getting lost in our goals and to be fully present with whatever we are doing so that we can enjoy the process. Paradoxically, aimlessness helps us to reach goals more easily and reliably.
This retreat is for everyone who wants to add lightness and freedom to their meditation practice. You will also be able to benefit from this opportunity to build friendship and community with other practitioners.
The retreat will be held online using Zoom from 16th to 18th April 2021, and will facilitated by Dharma teachers Theresa Payne and Murray Corke.
Suggested guide price: £60 for those who are able to afford it and with any surplus being donated to Plum Village
